Heroic legend Beowulf rides across the epic, mythical Shieldlands to his childhood home of Herot, hoping to set right the wrongs of his past. A hero of the Geats, he comes to the aid of Hrothgar, king of the Danes, whose great mead hall in Heorot is under attack by a terrifying monster known as Grendel.
