Lonely high school student Mark Hunter finds a secret outlet through his shortwave radio, broadcasting as the outspoken pirate DJ known as Hard Harry. His unfiltered late-night show quickly draws in fellow teens and stirs unrest at school. But when the broadcast is blamed after a student’s suicide, Mark’s underground voice puts him at the center of a clash involving classmates, faculty, and the authorities.
